Step By Step Guide to Gain a Business Visa in Dubai
A business visa is a long-term visa for entrepreneurs who establish a business in the United Arab Emirates. Depending on the scale of your investment, you could be a granted an investor visa for three years, five years, or ten years.
In order to be eligible for a ten-year business visa (also called investor visa), you need to establish a company that has a share capital of not less than AED 10 million. You could also be a partner in a firm that has a share capital of AED 10 million or more. Alternatively, you could invest AED 10 million in an investment fund that is based in the United Arab Emirates. You could also do both, provided the total value of your investment is AED 10
million. Not more than 60% of this should be in real estate.
The investment amount must not have been loaned, and it must be retained for three years at the very minimum. You should also be financially solvent to the tune of AED 10 million.
Approved business incubators are HUB71 in Abu Dhabi and AREA2071 in Dubai.
If you do not meet these requirements, you become eligible for a three-year business visa upon business setup in Dubai or elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates, provided you meet the existing criteria.

- You must be a majority shareholder in a startup or a part of its senior leadership.
